IPOH: A 28-year-old woman escaped with minor injuries after the car she was driving in crashed and burst into flames at Jalan Lenggong-Gerik near Kampung Baru Air Kala.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the victim suffered some burns and was sent to a clinic in an ambulance during the 8.30am incident on Monday (Jan 6).

"The car has been destroyed in the fire," he said, adding that the operation ended at 9.20am.
