Indonesian woman found dead in Puchong hotel room


PETALING JAYA: An Indonesian woman was found dead in a budget hotel room in Bandar Kinrara on Tuesday (Dec 31).

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said the hotel reported the discovery of the woman's body.

"Initial investigations found that a hotel employee found the victim's body at about 9pm before reporting it to the police.

"Currently, investigations are being carried out at the scene of the incident," he told Sinar Harian on Wednesday (Jan 1).

He said a media statement regarding this case would be issued.

Sinar Harian, who was at the scene of the incident, found several police personnel, including a patrol unit (MPV), conducting surveillance around the area.
