Man found dead by nephew in Ipoh apartment


IPOH: A 68-year-old man was found dead at his home in Block C, Cherry Apartment here

Perak Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director (Operations Division) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the department received a call at 11.08pm on Friday (December 20).

"We received a call from a man claiming that he could not contact his uncle for the last two days and suspected that something had happened.

He also said the door to his uncle's house was locked and there was no answer from inside," he said on Saturday (Dec 21).

Sabarodzi added that the police were also present at the scene.

"Once the door was successfully opened, the male victim was found lying in the room and was confirmed dead by Health Ministry personnel," he said, adding that the victim's body was handed over to the police for further action.
