Sepang cops to apply to extend remand of celebrity detained for drugs


SEPANG: Police will apply for a remand extension for a celebrity arrested for drug offences.

When contacted, Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman confirmed the matter.

"Tomorrow we will (apply for) the remand extension," he said.

On Dec 14, the 41-year-old male celebrity was arrested in Cyberjaya.

A search at a house also led to the discovery of two packets suspected to contain 60.3g of ganja. The suspect also tested positive for THC.
