KUALA LUMPUR: A minor fire occurred during The Journey of Sound: Judika & Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza concert at the Merdeka Stadium.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Mokhtar Ramli reported that a box of fireworks located on top of scaffolding behind the concert's stage caught fire.
"We were alerted about the incident at about 11.29pm on Saturday (Dec 14).
"Seven personnel were dispatched to the scene and managed to put out the fire," he said when contacted on Sunday (Dec 15).
No one was hurt during the incident, he added.
