PETALING JAYA: Reticent and enigmatic, the late Tun Daim Zainuddin was a man of few words. He preferred to let his work speak for itself.

As the country's Finance Minister - twice -, Tun Daim is best remembered for delivering the yearly Budget speech in Parliament, including this one in 1999.

Tun Daim Zainuddin, who used to be the Merbok MP, made a political comeback during the 2018 general election, which saw Pakatan Harapan winning the polls.
