Immigration officers remanded in Penang airport entry probe


GEORGE TOWN: Two Immigration Department enforcement officers have been remanded for three days to aid a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) probe concerning allegations linked to the unchecked entry of foreigners at Penang International Airport.

The remand, which runs from Saturday (Oct 19) to Monday, was issued by a magistrate at the Magistrate's Court here.
