Malaysian labour market projected to remain stable in 2025


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian labour market is projected to remain stable in 2025, boosted by better domestic and foreign economic growth prospects.

According to the 2025 Economic Outlook Report released by the Finance Ministry on Friday (Oct 18), the unemployment rate is forecast to improve further to 3.1% in 2025, while total employment is projected to grow by 2.1% to 16.6 million people.
