GISB probe: Prosecution to begin on four probe papers soon, says CID director


KUALA LUMPUR: The order to prosecute four investigation papers (IP) involving offences connected to GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB) has been given by the Attorney General's Chambers.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the prosecutions will be conducted soon.

"It will involve two IPs under Section 12 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants (Atipsom) Act 2007, one under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences against Children Act 2017 and one under Section 5(1) of the Care Centres Act 1993," he told a press conference at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) on Thursday (Oct 10).
