Firemen cut metal ring stuck on man’s genitals in Perak

IPOH: Firemen here were roped in to help cut a metal ring that was stuck on a man's genitals at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.

A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the hospital had requested their assistance after medical staff had trouble removing the ring from the 37-year-old man's genitals.

The spokesman said they received the call from the hospital at about 9.15am on Sunday (Sept 8).

"The operation ended at about 10.10am," he said in a statement.

"The victim was handed back to the hospital after the operation," he added.
