KL sinkhole: SAR team employed various methods in search, including bottle test, says IGP


KUALA LUMPUR: The search and rescue operation (SAR) team looking for the Indian tourist who was swallowed up by a sinkhole along Jalan Masjid India here on Friday (Aug 23) have employed various methods, including testing by releasing a bottle from a manhole near the sinkhole on Tuesday (Aug 27).

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the results of the test revealed that the bottle took about four hours to reach its final destination at the Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Pantai Dalam treatment plant.
