Cops seek suspect over red pills hidden in motorcycle in JB

JOHOR BARU: Police are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly placed two red pills, believed to be drugs, on another man's motorcycle at a petrol station in Majidee, here.

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the incident occurred last Tuesday (Aug 20) when the 37-year-old victim was on his way to work.

The man had stopped to fill petrol at the station, and while opening his top box, he noticed two red pills pasted at the bottom.

He then proceeded to throw away the pills and lodged a police report on Friday (Aug 23).

ACP Raub added that a team of police were deployed to the scene to look for the discarded items but were unable to find anything.

He added that the victim works as a welder in Singapore.

Earlier, a Facebook user named Farizatul Firdaus posted pictures of two red pills, allegedly methamphetamine drugs, pasted on the bottom of the top case of his motorcycle.
