Muhyiddin will follow due process and provide statement to cops, says Bersatu


PETALING JAYA: The Bersatu leadership has full confidence that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will respect the due process of law and provide his statement to the police on Wednesday (Aug 21).

In a statement on Tuesday (Aug 20), Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin also said the party leadership would carefully examine the issue involving Muhyiddin's speech made during the Nenggiri by-election campaign period on Aug 14.

"All parties are also called to remain calm and pray to God so that this matter can be resolved well, fairly and equitably based on the laws of the country," he said.
