Delegation from The Star visits Wisma Bernama

KUALA LUMPUR: Fourteen staff members from Star Media Group Berhad, led by its group chief executive officer Chan Seng Fatt, visited the Bernama headquarters here.

Also present were The Star's chief content officer Datin Paduka Esther Ng Sek Yee and managing editor Brian Martin.

The delegation arrived at Wisma Bernama at 10.30am on Tuesday (Aug 6) and was warmly welcomed by Bernama chairman Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai.

During the visit, they engaged in a discussion about news services with Wong, which was also attended by Bernama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj, deputy editor-in-chief (news service) Nasriah Darus and other senior officials.

The delegation was also given a tour of the editorial department, Bernama TV, digital media unit and Bernama Radio, and received a comprehensive briefing on Bernama's operations.

Established on May 20, 1968, Bernama, an agency under the Communications Ministry, maintains a presence on various social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, X, Instagram and YouTube. – Bernama
