NIBM-CanSino Biologics collaboration will boost vaccine development, research ecosystem, says Chang


PUTRAJAYA: The memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM) and the Chinese company, CanSino Biologics Inc, is set to strengthen the ecosystem for human vaccine development and research in line with the nation's aspiration to produce local vaccines by 2030.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Chang Lih Kang said this research and development collaboration involves talent and expert exchange as well as technology transfer, and is expected to be completed within two years.
