CHINA rock star Wang Feng (pic) was ridiculed online after he was spotted going on a date with a younger woman just months after his divorce with actress Zhang Ziyi, reported China Press.

The 52-year-old was spotted spending Mother’s Day with his children and a younger woman whom netizens identify as Li Qiao, an online influencer from the Xinjiang region.

Paparazzi caught them going out for a meal together on May 12.

Internet users were quick to point out that Li resembled his ex-wife Zhang.

“Wang really has a good eye. She has an air like Zhang Ziyi,” one netizen remarked.

Others, however, vilified Wang for his string of failed marriages.

“If he marries this one, it would be his fourth marriage. How many ex-wives does he need?” another Internet user quipped.

Wang and Zhang tied the knot in May 2015. They have a seven-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son together before announcing their divorce in October last year.

The singer first tied the knot with TV host Qi Dan in 2003 but they divorced a year later. His second marriage with a woman named Kang Zuoru in 2007 ended in 2013; they have a daughter together.

> Despite not smoking or drinking, a Chinese idol in his 20s contracted lung cancer and was told that he only had three months to live, China Press also reported.

Ian Jiang Zhihao, who just celebrated his 28th birthday on April 10, said he discovered he had terminal lung cancer last year.

The idol, who saw mainstream success after taking part in reality TV competition Youth with You in 2021, recounted during a TV interview on Fate of Life that he had tried to get better and return to work, only to experience dizzy spells and blurred vision.

Another medical check-up revealed that the cancer has since spread to his brain and he was given three months to live.

Jiang confirmed he ignored a persistent cough before his diagnosis, dismissing it as a mere throat infection.

However, a resolute Jiang said he will not admit defeat to his illness.

“Who cares if I don’t see the light of day tomorrow? In every story filled with passion, the hero will always have to overcome challenges.

“Even though life has forced me to bend over, I will show that I will never give up,” he said.
