SHAH ALAM: Many people were at the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) office in Section 15 here on Monday (May 13), to transfer money from their Akaun Sejahtera (Account 2) to Akaun Fleksibel (Account 3).
According to Sinar Harian, many also wanted to update their contact numbers to use the EPF i-Akaun app and to ask about Account 3.
Akaun Fleksibel was introduced on May 11 to allow members to withdraw their EPF savings. Withdrawals can be made using the EPF i-Akaun app or from EPF branches nationwide.
Members can choose to transfer a portion of their savings to Akaun Fleksibel from May 12 until Aug 31, 2024.
Only one transfer can be made once during this period, which cannot be cancelled.
