Multi-tier levy plan for migrants


KUALA LUMPUR: The levy companies pay for foreign workers will soon depend on the number of workers they hire.

The government is proposing a multi-tier levy – with companies having to pay more for each worker if they hire more – which is likely to be implemented by the end of this year, or next year.
