PASIR GUDANG: A 29-year-old man has been arrested following the death of a man in front of a restaurant in Taman Scientex, here.
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the incident occurred on Sunday (May 5) at 4.45pm.
“Initial investigation revealed that the suspect was involved in a fight with the 33-year-old victim, who later passed away in front of the restaurant.
“There was a miscommunication between the two, and the 29-year-old suspect was arrested right after the incident,” he said when contacted on Monday (May 6).
Supt Sohaimi added that the suspect is currently under remand to help with the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
