Bomba finds body of 82-year-old woman in locked home in Tawau


KOTA KINABALU: Firemen responding to a call to open a locked door at a Tawau house find the remains of an older woman inside the building.

A call came in at 6:51pm asking for the Fire and Rescue Department's assistance opening a locked unit at Taman Lily, Sin On. A team of eight arrived on location at 7pm.

“The operation used special tools to open the door, and an 82-year-old woman was found inside. She was declared dead by the police officers who were on location.

“The body was handed to the police for further actions, and the operation ended at 7.40pm,” said the Department spokesman.
