Isham Jalil offers apology to judiciary, seeks to end contempt proceedings against him


KUALA LUMPUR: Former Umno supreme council member Isham Jalil (pic) is seeking to end the contempt proceedings brought against him by the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) over his comments in Datuk Seri Najib Razak's 1Malaysia Development Bhd-related (1MDB) cases.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Ahmad Akram Gharib informed High Court judge Justice Noorin Badaruddin that Isham's lawyers had sent a representation to the AGC to offer an unreserved apology.
