Wounded bodyguard had difficulty breathing

PETALING JAYA: The bodyguard shot had difficulty breathing upon arrival at the hospital.

His wife, who only wanted to be identified as Siti Noraida, said she had rushed to the Cyberjaya Hospital following word of the shooting yesterday.

“I was also told there was severe bleeding, and when he arrived at the hospital, he had difficulty breathing. However, no vital organs were hit,” she said.

The housewife said her husband was assigned as a part-time bodyguard before Ramadan.

“I am still shocked and did not expect this to happen during Syawal,” the 28-year-old mother of three told Bernama.

Meanwhile, a colleague said the bodyguard was not supposed be working yesterday.

Mohd Affan Mohd Aris said the bodyguard, Along, had to replace a female colleague who is on Hari Raya break.“Along shared a picture of him beginning his duties in the security firm’s WhatsApp group chat before the incident,” he told Majority 7 at the Cyberjaya Hospital.
