PM: Civil servants to get RM500 in special aid for Hari Raya


PUTRAJAYA: Civil servants will get RM500 as special financial assistance in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, announces Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said those eligible for the special financial aid are civil servants of Grade 56 and below.

The Prime Minister also announced that RM250 would be given to government retirees as well as veterans in both the pensionable and non-pensionable categories.

“I have informed the Treasury for the money to be channeled beginning Friday (April 5),” he said at the Prime Minister’s Department monthly gathering on Monday (April 1).
