IGP makes surprise visit to police stations

KUALA LUMPUR: The Nilai district police headquarters (IPD) and Mantin police station lock-up received a surprise visit from the nation’s top cop who checked the assignment of officers and personnel in the field.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain (pic) said that the surprise visit was not to find fault or to punish, Bernama reported.

Posting on his official TikTok account, Razarudin said the visit was meant to ensure that personnel and manpower were correctly assigned.

Yesterday’s surprise visit followed a similar one to the Kajang IPD command centre on Saturday, in which Razarudin went to personally monitor the daily operations of the front line officers and personnel.
