More than 4,500 accidents in first three days of Ops Selamat, including 44 fatal cases


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 4,764 accidents, including 44 fatal cases, were recorded over the first three days of Ops Selamat held in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Comm Datuk Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapri said the 44 fatal accidents caused the deaths of 46 individuals during Ops Selamat, which began on Feb 8.
