Najib’s daughter posts message for father on social media

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s daughter Nooryana Najwa Najib, shares a message with a photo of her father on her Instagram story.

In the short clip, she wrote, "Always waiting for your return, however long it takes", as a dedication to her father, a former prime minister of Malaysia. The post was backed with the song "Fix You" by Coldplay.

Nooryana is Wanita Umno's executive committee member.

Currently, Najib is awaiting the decision from the Pardons Board about the outcome of the royal pardon appeal.

"Just be patient and wait for the official statement from the Pardons Board," says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa

“An official statement will come later,” she added, omitting to say when.

Zaliha, also a Pardon Board member, said this to reporters after the opening ceremony of Federal Territories Day and Putrajaya Open Day 2024 in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (Feb 1).
