JOHOR BARU: One of the suspects in the murder of single mother Mira Sharmila Samsusah will be charged on Wednesday (Jan 24).

In a statement, Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the male suspect would be charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder at the Batu Pahat Magistrate's Court.

In another statement, Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Ismail Dollah confirmed that the skeletal remains discovered in an abandoned house at Kampung Batu 7 of Tongkang Pechah were that of Mira Sharmila, also known as Bella.
