Dr Mahathir has been embroiled in a war of words with several leaders over his statement during an interview with an Indian TV channel when he claimed that Indians in Malaysia are not completely loyal.

He also said non-Malays should be assimilated into Malay culture and become Malay if they wanted to claim the country as theirs.

Several police reports were lodged following the interview.

Dr Mahathir also said on X recently that he was ready to meet with National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang.
