Continuous rain warning issued for Pahang, Johor until tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning on Saturday (Jan 6) of continuous heavy rain for eastern Pahang and Johor until Sunday (Jan 7).

In a statement issued on Saturday, it also said there would also be strong winds and rough seas until Monday (Jan 8).

MetMalaysia said that this follows the concentration of easterly winds expected to occur in Pahang, Johor, Sarawak and eastern Sabah until Tuesday.

Such a weather condition will increase humidity which has the potential to bring continuous rain in the affected areas, it added.
