MRT3: Land acquisition process to start in stages next year

PUTRAJAYA: MRT Corp will begin its land acquisition process in stages from next year for the Mass Rapid Transit Line 3 (MRT3) Circle Line project, which will take two years to be finalised, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

Speaking at a media conference after the Lease Agreement signing ceremony between MRT Corp and the Federal Lands Commissioner (PTP) here on Thursday (Dec 21), Loke said that to minimise the cost of land acquisition for the government, MRT Corp would actively cooperate with property developers to integrate the MRT3 stations.
