Sultan Johor grants Mohamed Khaled an audience


JOHOR BAHRU: Sultan Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar granted new Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin an audience here on Saturday (Dec 16).

The Sultan shared a post regarding the audience on his official Facebook page.

Mohamed Khaled, 65, served as Johor’s 15th Menteri Besar, leading the state from May 2013 to May 2018, and is currently the Kota Tinggi MP.

He was previously the Higher Education Minister and was appointed Defence Minister during the recent Cabinet reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya on Tuesday (Dec 12).

The reshuffle follows the first year of the Unity Government’s administration. - Bernama
