Sentul cops nab MRT flasher


KUALA LUMPUR: A flasher has been arrested after he exposed himself to a woman inside an MRT train.

Sentul police chief Asst Comm Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari, in a statement Tuesday (Dec 12), said the incident occurred on Dec 5 as the train was moving from the Kepong Baru station to the Metro Prima station.

“A police report was lodged at 9.32pm by a 22-year-old woman following the incident where a local man had shown his private parts to her when she was in the train.

“On Dec 12, at 11.40pm, a police team arrested the 31-year-old man in Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang,” he said.

He added that the suspect had since confessed to the act.

“He was found to have no criminal record and will be remanded to assist investigations.

“As of now, no other passengers or witnesses had lodged reports against him,” he said
