KUALA LUMPUR: The 42-year-old man, who is believed to have murdered his parents at Kampung Sungai Penchala, was detained within two hours and 40 minutes of the incident.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the suspect was detained at the Penchala tunnel at about 10.30pm on Saturday (Dec 9).

"The suspect has nine records for drug-related offences.
