Outpouring of grief, sympathy over Zayn Rayyan's passing


PETALING JAYA: The devastating news of the discovery of six-year-old Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin's body has shocked the community.

Zayn Rayyan, who was reported missing near his residence at around noon on Dec 5, was found dead in a river near his house at Idaman Apartment, Damansara Damai following a 34-hour search.

The heartbreaking conclusion sparked an outpouring of condolences and prayers across social media platforms from concerned Malaysians.

Malaysian TV personality Daphne Iking conveyed her heartfelt condolences, saying: “So so sad to read this. My condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul find peace.”

Similarly, Instagram and Facebook users shared their heartfelt prayers and anguish with user @hanujah commenting, “Gosh. I just prayed for him last night. This is so heartbreaking...”

Commenter @logeetha_1515 reflected: “This is so unfair. I was praying so hard for him to come back home. This is so heartbreaking. Rest well, little one.”

Meanwhile, commenter Gvhe Dhane Shankar said: “So sad, I was hoping so hard he would be found safe. Rest in peace, poor darling.”

In a show of empathy, heartfelt messages continued as people extended their condolences to Zayn Rayyan's family, particularly his mother, offering them strength during this difficult time.

Haliza Khalid shared, “Salam Takziah kepada keluarga Allahyarham Zayn Rayyan (Condolences to Zayn Rayyan's family).”
