K-POP band NewJeans was the biggest winner for a girl group in the 2023 Mama Awards, bagging four titles, Oriental Daily reported.

These include two major awards: Artiste of the Year and Best Female Group.

They also won Dance Performance – Female Group while their hit song Ditto landed them the Song of the Year award.

The awards ceremony was held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on Nov 28 and 29.

Sin Chew Daily reported that the couple could not have their wedding reception in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Pan posted a picture of him and Xuan in their wedding attire with the caption, “Thank you, everyone.” The duo chose Alila Villas Uluwatu as their wedding venue as it is a popular wedding spot for celebrities.

> China-born Canadian actress Leanne Li had to spend her 39th birthday in hospital after injuring her back, China Press reported.

Her husband Wong Cho-lam, who is a Hong Kong actor and television host, had planned her a birthday vacation to Thailand but they had to cancel the trip.

Li said she even had difficulty holding a cup.
