Three-vehicle pile-up causes 7km crawl on NSE


JASIN: An accident involving two lorries and a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) at KM198.2 southbound of the North-South Highway (PLUS) near here early Friday (Nov 17) caused a massive traffic jam stretching for about seven kilometres.

Jasin district police chief DSP Ahmad Jamil Radzi said that in the 1am incident, the lorries laden with butter and frozen products collided with a Toyota Alphard carrying four foreign tourists.
