Budget was a missed opportunity for the country, say women’s groups

PETALING JAYA: Women’s groups feel that Budget 2024 is a “missed opportunity” for the country to have a truly gender-responsive budget that benefits the whole population.

“We understand that this is a budget for various communities and groups, but we also see this as a missed opportunity,” said Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) advocacy director Abinaya Mohan.
