Fine weather expected on nomination day in Pelangai

KUANTAN: The weather is expected to be fine Saturday (Sept 23) morning in Pelangai, Bentong on nomination day for the Pelangai state by-election.

Pahang Meteorological Department director Nazian Zainal Abidin said, however, thunderstorms and rain were expected in the area in the afternoon and night.

The Pelangai by-election, which will take place on Oct 7, was called following the death of incumbent Datuk Seri Johari Harun in a plane crash in Shah Alam, Selangor on Aug 17. – Bernama
