GEORGE TOWN: A section of a flyover at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway will be closed from 8am to 1pm on Saturday (Sept 9) for upgrading works.
The flyover affected is near Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
"Those who wish to use the expressway are advised to use the alternative route below the flyover during this period," the Penang Island City Council said in a statement on Friday (Sept 8).
Hospital Penang also announced the temporary closure of the entrance to its Emergency and Trauma Department from Saturday to Sept 24 for upgrading works.
It said the public may use the alternative route through Gate 1 near the hospital surau with a temporary drop zone and registration counter set up near the Block A lobby.
