Kapar shooting: Cops nab one following probe into fatal incident


KLANG: Police have arrested one man following investigations into the fatal shooting here in Kapar.

The arrest of the suspect, in his twenties, was made at around noon Thursday (Aug 31) within the Kapar area.

Other suspects linked to the case were still currently being traced down.

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao confirmed the matter in a text message Friday (Sept 1).

On Wednesday (Aug 30), a 36-year-old man with a history of drug and criminal-related offences was found dead with gunshot wounds along Jalan Hamzah Alang 22/KU9.

Witnesses told police that they had heard sounds of gunfire and that there had been a small traffic accident at the scene as well.

Videos of the victim had been shared on social media, showing the victim on the ground, and of a crashed motorcycle.
