State polls: Sanusi says will be sworn in as Kedah MB on Monday (Aug 14)


ALOR SETAR: The appointment and swearing-in ceremony of the Kedah Mentri Besar is scheduled be held on Monday (Aug 14) at Istana Anak Bukit here.

Jeneri assemblyman Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, who is caretaker Kedah mentri besar, confirmed to Bernama that he would be sworn-in as the new Mentri Besar on Monday.

Based on the media invitation letter issued by the Office of the Kedah State Secretary on Sunday (Aug 13), the ceremony will take place from 9am at the palace’s Balai Mengadap Besar.

The swearing-in before the Sultan of Kedah Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah will also be attended by State Secretary Datuk Norizan Khazali.
