KUALA LUMPUR: The 2023 StarCarSifu Auto Show continues to draw car enthusiasts with the latest models, attractive deals and premium automotive accessories.

Admission is free to the first 2023 StarCarSifu Auto Show, which runs from 10am to 10pm until Sunday at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur.

Among the visitors were business owner Shirley Ann and her husband Johnny Chong, who were interested in the all-electric BYD Atto 3 SUV (sports utility vehicle).

“We are attracted by the design of the Atto 3 and look forward to a test drive soon.

“We are interested in buying a BEV (battery electric vehicle) as prices are more attractive,” she said.

The locally-assembled Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric drew the attention of Dr Prem Das and his wife Dr Tharani.

“BEVs are better for the environment. We are interested in the technology.

“Now that prices are lower compared with previous years, we can consider buying one,” said Dr Prem.

Salesman Syafwan Syafril and his wife Aliea Aziz, who is a nurse, were seen taking a closer look at a Proton X50.

He said the auto show was conveniently located with various car brands under one roof.

“There is no need to spend time going to different car showrooms,” said Syafwan.

Business development manager Tham Yee Hong was seen checking out the Subaru Forester EyeSight GT Edition.

“I have been driving a pick-up truck for the past 10 years. I am getting on in age and want more driving comfort. An SUV would be good, and there are many choices nowadays,” he said.

The auto show is organised by Star Media Group.
