JOHOR BARU: Taiwanese Ong Kien Chu has always been in awe of those who can speak more than one language.

The 74-year-old, who married a Malaysian and moved here more than 40 years ago, said it has always been a struggle for her to communicate with others when she went out for meals and shopping.
