KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Bar's proposal to introduce three new laws to deal with hate crime and speeches relating to royalty, religion and race (3R) should be seriously considered by the government, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye (pic).
The Alliance for a Safe Community chairman said the current Sedition Act 1948 was outdated and should be replaced with more relevant laws.
