KUCHING: A road safety awareness programme needs to be implemented to familiarise users with new road arrangements on the Pan Borneo Highway, which is in the final stages of construction, says Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
The Deputy Prime Minister said the use of P-turns to replace the conventional U-turns along the highway was one of several arrangements that have yet to become fully familiar among road users, resulting in it being one of the causes of accidents.
