Civil servant freed of statutory rape charges

KOTA KINABALU: A 58-year-old Sabah civil servant was freed of two counts of rape against a minor after the prosecution dropped the charges.

Sessions Court judge Elsie Primus allowed the dropping of charges against Ag Salleh Kurus after deputy public prosecutor Mas Izzaty Lokman applied for it.
