> A wedding in India turned into a brawl between two families when one side complained that the ‘paayaasam’ was no good, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The groom’s side, which hosted the wedding, had served sweet Indian dessert as part of the wedding dinner, but the bride’s relatives complained that it was terrible.

The bride’s relatives scolded the groom’s family with vulgar words over the paayaasam and they retaliated by dumping a pail of ‘saambar’ on them.

This led to an all-out brawl and the police had to be called in to bring the situation under control.

Eventually, both sides were placated by the police before leaving the place.
