Fire breaks out at forklift factory in Selangor industrial zone


PETALING JAYA: A fire broke out at a factory manufacturing forklifts on Tuesday (June 6).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain said the factory was located along Jalan Sg Batu 11/KU6 in the Sungai Puloh industrial zone.

A team of firefighters arrived at the scene at 6.04am.

Preliminary reports showed that the fire had also spread to nearby buildings and the scale of the damage has yet to be determined.

"The fire was fully extinguished at 8.11am and no victims were involved," he said when contacted.
