Senior citizen crashes car into ditch in Kluang


KLUANG: A 63-year-old woman lost control of her car and crashed into a ditch in Kampung Paya here.

Kluang Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Jusoh Mohd Salleh said the accident was reported at 7.39am on Thursday (June 1).

“The senior citizen’s car fell into a 3.04m-deep ditch along Jalan Kampung Paya.

“We helped to get her out of the ditch and the woman managed to escape unscathed from the incident,” he said, adding that nobody else was involved in the accident.

Jusoh added that the woman was sent to the Kluang Hospital for the necessary health checks.

The rescue operation ended at 7.58am.
