Health White Paper to be tabled in Parliament next week, says Dr Zaliha

KUALA LUMPUR: The Health White Paper is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament next week, says Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa.

She said the ministry has informed Parliament on the tabling in June.

“We have received consensus on the White Paper from Cabinet. I will be presenting the Cabinet papers next week,” she said.

Dr Zaliha said this after opening the 29th Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) International Healthcare Conference & Exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, here on Tuesday (May 30).

Recently, Health director-general Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan urged everyone to support the White Paper on health to ensure a more sustainable, competitive and resilient Malaysian healthcare system.
